GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. 1. GENERAL

    Welcome to www.gigue.com (hereinafter “GIGUE.COM” or “Gigue webshop”).

    The website GIGUE.COM is operated by Gigue Corporation bv, registered at Prins Boudewijnlaan 30, 2550 Kontich, Belgium.

    (hereinafter “Gigue”, “we”, “us”).

    These general terms and conditions apply to all use of the website and all purchases made via the webshop. By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.

    2. PRIVACY STATEMENT

    Our privacy statement explains how Gigue collects, uses and protects your personal data. By accepting these terms and conditions, you also agree to our privacy statement.

    3. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14 DAYS)

    As a consumer, you have the right to notify Gigue within 14 calendar days after receiving your order that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, without penalty and without providing any reason.

    If you exercise this right of withdrawal, you must return the items within 14 days after informing us.

    A standard EU withdrawal form exists but is not required — returns can be arranged easily via our online return portal.

    4. RETURNS

    You may return your items within 14 calendar days after receiving your package.

    4.1. Returns via GLS (Benelux)

    You can start a return online through the return portal. After registering your return, you will receive a return label by email.

    Drop your parcel at a GLS ParcelShop or GLS Locker. You will receive a drop-off receipt. Once your return arrives at our warehouse, you will receive a confirmation email.

    4.2. Return costs within the Benelux

    • Outside Sale periods: returns are free of charge.

    • During Sale and Archive periods: a return fee of €4.50 applies.

    • Choosing a voucher instead of a refund? Then the return fee is waived, and your return becomes free.

    4.3. Returns outside the Benelux

    Return labels can be requested via the return portal. Return costs vary per destination.

    4.4. Return conditions

    Please keep the following conditions in mind:

    • Returns must be registered and shipped within 14 days of receipt.

    • Items must be returned in original condition: unworn, unwashed, undamaged and with all original labels attached.

    • The original packaging must be included.

    • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

    • A reduction in value may be charged for used or damaged items.

    • Refunds are processed within 10 business days after receipt of the return.

    Shipping costs are refunded if the entire order is returned.

    4.5. Non-accepted returns

    If your return does not meet our conditions, you will be notified.
    The item may be returned to you for €18 (within 10 days). If you do not request the return shipment, the item will be destroyed.

    4.6. Lost returns

    If a return parcel is lost, the customer will be compensated with a voucher.
    Refunds in cash are not possible in this case.

    5. LEGAL WARRANTY

    Belgian consumer law applies. Please report any defect within 2 months after you notice it. Complaints submitted after this period may be refused.

    6. PRODUCT INFORMATION

    Gigue makes every effort to ensure that colours, materials and descriptions are displayed accurately. Colours may vary depending on your screen settings.

    All prices include VAT for EU countries and exclude shipping costs. Prices may change; the price shown at checkout is the valid price.

    7. ORDERS

    GIGUE.COM sells exclusively to private consumers.
    A sales contract is concluded once the customer completes the final step of the checkout process.

    If an ordered product is unexpectedly out of stock, we will notify you immediately and offer an alternative or refund.

    Gigue reserves the right to modify or cancel an order in case of pricing or discount errors.

    8. PAYMENTS

    After confirming your order, you will be redirected to a secure payment page.

    Accepted payment methods include:
    MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Bancontact, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shopify Pay.

    Refunds are always issued via the original payment method.

    9. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

    9.1. Delivery via GLS

    Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number.

    Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.

    If your parcel is damaged upon arrival, please contact customer service immediately.

    9.2. Shipping costs & delivery times

    Benelux

    • Delivery time: 1–3 business days

    • Shipping cost: €4.95

    • Free shipping from €175

    France: €18.95 — 3–7 business days
    Germany: €12.95 — 3–7 business days
    Spain: €37.95 — 7–10 business days
    Other EU countries: €29.95 — 6–9 business days

    Delivery times are indicative. Gigue is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.

    10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

    All content on GIGUE.COM (images, text, brand names, designs) is protected by copyright and trademark law.
    Use or reproduction is not allowed without written permission.

    11. GIFT CARDS

    • Valid for 12 months from purchase.

    • Cannot be exchanged for cash.

    • Returns of items purchased with a gift card are refunded as a new gift card.

    • Promotion codes cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

    12. COPY OF YOUR ORDER

    Gigue keeps an electronic copy of your order as required by law.
    You will automatically receive an order confirmation by email.

    13. APPLICABLE LAW & DISPUTES

    These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
    Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent, Belgium.
